Enrollment

IMPRS-CBP students will enroll either at Goethe University Frankfurt or Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Both universities, as most universities in Germany, do not charge tuition fees but students do have to pay administrative fees (Semesterbeitrag) of currently around 330 euros (Mainz) / 370 euros (Frankfurt) per semester. This money goes towards subsidising student accommodation and canteens. It also entitles you to membership at the students’ union, a travel card for public transportation and access to university sports facilities.
