Who is eligible?
We are looking for excellent young scientists who are eager to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of Biophysics. If you are highly motivated, have exceptional scientific training and research experience and like to work in a team, we are looking forward to receive your application.
Degree:
Master of Science:
A Master of Science obtained at a German or foreign university with excellent marks is the common way to enter the IMPRS on Cellular Biophysics. Please note that you must have officially completed your Master's degree prior to our program start on September 15.
Bachelor of Science:
In Germany, it is not common practice to enroll as a PhD student with a Bachelor degree. Students holding a BSc may be considered in exceptional cases if they provide excellent academic records and transcripts that prove equivalent training. An assessment of these records will take place on a case-to-case basis and candidates may have to complete additional MSc courses to be accepted at the IMPRS on Cellular Biophysics.
